Jess has owned and run Imagine, learn and Create for over 10 years.
She has also worked as a senior support worker for adults with learning disabilities for many years. She has a degree in art, has completed the foundation in art therapy and art therapy in practice. Jess also runs out side workshops and can be hired for schools, colleges, residential homes, clubs etc.
Pip (on the left) has been volunteering at Imagine, Learn & Create for a long time, she comes in on a Thursday.
She has worked with young children and taught basic literacy to adults with learning difficulties for several years. She comes from a family of artists and loves to be creative with the group and students.
Fi (on the left) has worked as a teacher and support worker for 14 years with adults and young people with a variety of special needs.
She is a self-taught artist who exhibits her work locally. She is also a Massage Therapist and has a catering business too. When Fi is at ILC she loves to cook with students as well as encouraging them with their art & design projects. Fi likes everyone to have fun!
Kath (in the middle) has a music degree and taught woodwind for many years for Somerset music.
She has worked at Yeovil college for 15 years with students with specific learning difficulties in the art and music departments.
She also has a qualification in horticulture and a passion for gardening and is delighted to share this with ILC.
Patch (on the left) studied Fine Art at University College Falmouth, where he was mostly painting and drawing.
He has been working with traditional rural crafts including basketry, green woodwork and weaving, all with an ecological theme. He also host ILC visits to his garden to cut flowers.
For a few years he had the Long Sutton Autism school visiting here regularly (teenagers).
He always enjoyed seeing the ILC creations at local fairs.
